Greetings,
It is my pleasure to extend warm regards on behalf of the Zeta Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, based in Lubbock, Texas. Established on December 6, 1971, at Texas Tech University, our chapter is part of the Sensational South Central Region, led by Regional Director Shawn E. Simmons, alongside many remarkable members dedicated to advancing the sorority's mission at international, regional, and local levels.
I am honored to serve as the President for 2024-2025 and represent this chapter of distinguished women who wholeheartedly contribute to promoting academic excellence, professionalism, community collaboration, lifelong bonds, and the core values of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Our chapter remains committed to developing programs that align with the 2022-2026 International Administration's Initiatives. Zeta Tau’s efforts focus on advocacy and making a positive impact. We aim to serve as a central resource for the West Texas area, touching lives and working together in the spirit of service and sisterhood.
We are fortunate to have the support of our sponsoring graduate chapter, Eta Delta Omega, and our Graduate Advisor, Tina Stevens.
Thank you for visiting the Zeta Tau Chapter’s website to learn more about our programs and initiatives. We truly appreciate your interest! Please feel free to connect with us via social media or by email to ttuakagraduateadvisor@gmail.com for further information.
